I’ve got a new lead on the lizard men. I’ve recently saved up from my weekend shifts and bought myself a radio frequency scanner. Basically, it’ll let me listen into police radio talks. And by using it I’ve come across something truly incredible: turns out the men in black weren’t from the drainage commission at all!


Two policemen were at the scene of another attack. They must have been first responders.
I made a transcript:

Policeman: “Kilo-Lima-7-6-S-2 receiving Control, over.”
Control: “Control go ahead, over.”
Policeman: “Control, we have an assault with injury on the intersection between Wadeson Street and Mowlem Street. Requesting ambulance and investigator to the scene, over.”
Control: “Copy that, is it another bloodletting? Over.”
Policeman: “We believe so yes, over.”
Control: “Cordon off the alley and wait. XV3 personnel and medical personnel are on-route, over.”
Policeman: …
Control: “Copy, over?”
Policeman: “Copy, over.”

I’ve never heard about this organisation before and a quick googling hasn’t turned anything up. I wanted to get this out there as soon as possible. What we know about this group is that:

1. They have authority over the police.
2. They’re secret, most likely government funded.
3. They’ve got something to do with the lamprey attacks.
4. They surely are behind the lizardmen.

Odds on these guys have been infiltrated by the aliens from the drainage commission. My theory: they’re the ones attacking these people, taking the human blood that sustains them. That... or maybe they’re at war with the lampreys because they are the lizardmen and, you know, lampreys and lizardmen can be enemies. Not 100% on these yet, but I’ll see what I can turn up.
